zygodactylous - A Dictionary of Zoology
zygodactylous In birds, applied to feet in which two toes point forwards, and two to the rear. The condition is found e.g. in Cuculidae, Picidae, Psittacidae, and Ramphastidae. Compare ANISODACTYLOUS.
